Do you regularly dust your hens? Once Hen Mites have set it, its too late so, we regularly use Red Mite Powder to keep the mite at bay.
We recommend you regularly worm your chickens with Flubenvet especially if they are enclosed in a fixed run.
Unfortunately, chickens can attract flies in the summer time, so we recommend you use Red Top Fly Trap to prevent any problems

Tree clearing, chippings for hens.
Well what an exciting weekend the girls and we have just had! Just behind the chicken run there were 2 sycamore trees that had grown so big they cut all the light off from my vegi patch. Added to that, every Autumn they dropped seeds all over the garden so three tree surgeons came in and lopped one and cut the other down.
